We were thrilled to have the entire Board of County Commissioners and other members of Team Suwannee at the Florida Rural Economic Development Summit. The wealth of knowledge gained and connections made were invaluable.

We appreciated the Secretary of Commerce, Alex Kelly, for taking the time to lead one of the sessions. Also, there was a presentation of the 2023 Rural Legislative Champion Awards which went to Senator Corey Simon and Representative Shane Abbott.

The FREDA summit continues to grow. Florida rural counties take development seriously and rural Florida is stronger than ever.
