Suwannee County Economic Development, in partnership with the North Florida Economic Development Partnership, recently hosted a regional Space Florida Academy meeting at Camp Weed. This impactful event brought together key leaders from across the region – including representatives from economic development organizations, school boards, superintendents, higher education institutions, and technical colleges.

The program introduced attendees to the Space Florida Academy, showcasing the innovative resources helping shape Florida’s future. The event highlighted the powerful intersection of space innovation and workforce development, and how these tools are fueling the state’s economic growth, advancing STEM education, and creating exciting new opportunities for Florida’s next generation.
