Governor Ron DeSantis and Secretary of Commerce Alex Kelly told us to “Bee” happy as they presented Team Suwannee with a check for $2.2 million at the Busy Bee Travel Plaza in Live Oak. The money, which was awarded from the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund, is to assist in the funding of the wastewater treatment facility at the Suwannee County Regional Industrial Complex. With the support of the Governor and his staff, Suwannee County continues to bring new investment into the area. The Economic Development Office with the overwhelming support of the Board of County Commissioners is honored to represent the citizens of Suwannee County and strive to improve their quality of life.
