Last week, Suwannee County participated in Rural Counties Days in Tallahassee. The event promotes the unique benefits and offerings of rural counties and highlights the vital role rural communities play in Florida’s economic success.

A key moment of our visit was witnessing the Florida Senate pass the Rural Renaissance bill sponsored by Senator Corey Simon. We appreciate the leadership and commitment to supporting rural counties from Senator Simon and Senate President Ben Albritton among others as well. This legislation marks a significant step forward in offering rural areas options to thrive in several sectors and empowering rural communities across the state of Florida.
